Baird-Parker medium is a selective and differential medium used to detect and enumerate Staphylococcus aureus.
1. Allow the agar plates to equilibrate at room temperature.
2. Inoculate the agar plates directly with the clinical specimens or test samples.
3. Incubate the plates at the appropriate temperature and time as required by the standard protocol or guidelines.
4. Place the agar plates upside down, with the lids facing downwards.
