{"id":1985,"date":"2023-08-11T09:09:08","date_gmt":"2023-08-11T09:09:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/labone.vn\/bacterlab\/?post_type=product&#038;p=1985"},"modified":"2025-04-04T08:18:28","modified_gmt":"2025-04-04T08:18:28","slug":"bacterplate-tcbs-agar-plates","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/labone.vn\/bacterlab\/en\/product\/bacterplate-tcbs-agar-plates\/","title":{"rendered":"BacterPlate\u2122 TCBS Agar"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">INTENDED USE<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>BacterPlate\u2122 TCBS Agar <\/strong>is a selective medium for the isolation of <em>Vibrio<\/em> <em>cholerae<\/em> and other enteropathologic Vibrio (in particular <em>Vibrio parahaemolyticus<\/em>) in fish, seafood and biological samples of animal origin.<\/li>\n<li>The typical composition corresponds to that defined in the standard NF EN ISO 21872-1.<\/li>\n<li>The packaging with semi-permeable Cellophane film helps balance the humidity of the environment during storage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">PRINCIPLE<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>The high concentrations of thiosulfate and sodium citrate, as well as the alkalinity of the medium, considerably inhibit the growth of enterobacteria.<\/li>\n<li>Ox bile and sodium cholate slow the growth of enterococci and inhibit the development of Gram positive bacteria.<\/li>\n<li>The acidification of the medium resulting from the fermentation of sucrose by <em>Vibrio<\/em> makes bromothymol blue turns yellow.<\/li>\n<li>Using thiosulfate as a sulfur source, the production of hydrogen sulfide is visualized in the presence of ferric citrate.
