This medium has high specificity, capable of detecting atypical species and serovars such as <em>S. Typhi, S. Paratyphi, S. Senftenberg<\/em>, and lactose and saccharose fermenting strains. It also detects strains with weak or no esterase activity, such as <em>S. bongori, S. Dublin<\/em>, and some strains of <em>S. enterica<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>This method has been NF VALIDATION certified according to the NF EN ISO 16140-2 (2016) standard for food products, animal feed, industrial environmental samples, and powdered milk.<\/li>\n<li>The packaging with semi-permeable Cellophane film helps balance the humidity of the environment during storage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>PRINCIPLES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>This method allows the detection of both motile and non-motile <em>Salmonella<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Enrichment Step: <\/strong>The sample is diluted 1:10 in Salmonella enrichment medium (Can be used: <strong>BacterBag\u2122 Buffered Peptone Water<\/strong>), following the recommendations of the NF EN ISO 6579 standard.
