This medium supports the growth of hemolytic and nonhemolytic GBS strains.<\/li>\n<li><strong>BacterChrom\u2122 StrepB <\/strong>is not intended to diagnose infection nor to guide nor monitor treatment for infections. Further identification, susceptibility testing and epidemiological typing is needed on suspect colonie<\/li>\n<li>The packaging with semi-permeable Cellophane film helps balance the humidity of the environment during storage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>PRINCIPLES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The medium contains components that facilitate the differentiation of <em>Group B Streptococcus (GBS)<\/em> through distinctive color changes in the colonies, allowing easy identification of suspected colonies.
