The medium complies with the food microbiology standard NF EN ISO 21872-1.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>PRINCIPLES<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>BacterTube\u2122 <\/strong><strong>Alkaline Peptone <\/strong>creates a high pH (8,6 \u00b1 0,2) and saline environment that favors the growth of <em>Vibrio spp.<\/em> while inhibiting competing bacteria. Peptone provides essential nutrients, and sodium chloride mimics marine conditions, enhancing the recovery of halophilic <em>Vibrio spp.<\/em>.
