Ductless Fume Hood, HUYAir DFH is a viable alternative to conventional fume hoods. This type of fume hood utilizes carbon or HEPA filtration to protect laboratory personnel from toxic chemical fumes, odors, and particles. Known for its plug-and-play feature and mobility, Ductless Fume Hood guarantees a hassle-free installation and no lab work interruption.

Technology:
- HUYAir DFH utilizes the “HUYAir Comprehensive” microprocessor control system, displaying the full performance of the hood on the LCD screen.
- Sensors are directly installed in the hood to monitor airflow, with integrated low airspeed warning mode.
- Alert displays when the filters and UV lamp reach the end of their service life.
- When the UV lamp is activated, the fluorescent lamp and motor automatically turn off. When the door is opened, the UV lamp automatically turns off to protect the user.
- Door alert: When the glass door is opened beyond the limit of 200mm, audible signals and lights will activate to ensure safe operation.
- When the glass door is completely closed, the motor automatically reduces its speed to 30% to save energy, extend the motor’s lifespan, and maintain a clean working environment.
- The motor utilizes energy-efficient EBMpapst centrifugal fans from Germany, saving energy, prolonging filter lifespan, and reducing noise during operation.
- Carbon filters from GVS – UK are used:
1. GP – General organic compound removal (i.e solvents, odours, organic acids etc)
2. CYN – Removal of compounds containing Cyanide (and general organics)
3. AMM – Removal of compounds containing Ammonia & Amine (and general organics)
4. FOR – Removal of Formaldehyde (and general organics)
5. ACI – Removal of inorganic acids and general organics (including Sulphur compounds)
6. ACR- Removal of Alkali compounds (and general organics)
7. ETH – Removal of compounds containing Ether (and general organics)
Design:
- The hood is designed with 5mm tempered glass on both sides to resist UV rays and provide easy observation of samples and other users’ processes.
- Scientific design: The lifting frame and support structure create a comfortable working surface.
- Advanced internal structure optimizes airflow.
Materials:
- Outer shell made of 1.2mm thick galvanized steel with chemical-resistant electrostatic coating.
- Interior chamber made of 0.8mm thick SUS 304 stainless steel.
- Glass door made of 5-10mm tempered glass, designed with counterweight for easy opening and closing.
