SAMPLE COLLECTION SWAB AND MEDIUM
SwabCollect™ is a microbial sampling tool designed to collect samples from surfaces in food processing, medical, and pharmaceutical environments. The product consists of a swab and a plastic tube containing sterile medium. The media in SwabCollect™ helps to recover, support the survival, and stabilize microorganisms, while protecting them from environmental factors, including residual disinfectants on surfaces, ensuring sample quality throughout transportation and analysis.
CONTACT PLATES
The BacterContact™ and BacterContact™ Pro contact plates come in both irradiated and non-irradiated types, with packaging available in 1 and 3 layers for monitoring surface and personnel microbiology in critical and non-critical areas within clean rooms. These plates are suitable for use in environments with or without neutralizing agents such as lecithin (L), tween 80 (T), histidine (H), and sodium thiosulfate (Th). They can be supplemented with cephalosporinase (cephase) or penicillinase (penase) to effectively neutralize a wide range of β-lactam antibiotics.
90mm AGAR PLATES
With the aim of sampling airborne microorganisms for the control of microbial air quality indicators in cleanrooms, 90mm Petri dishes containing Tryptone Soya Agar (TSA) are used to monitor easily cultivable bacteria, while Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA) is used to monitor yeasts and molds. These agar plates are used for air sampling along with devices such as Microbial Air Samplers or placed directly at locations requiring monitoring within the cleanroom.
ENVIRONMETNTAL SAMPLING SPONGES
SpongesCollect™ is a microbial sampling tool designed to collect samples from surfaces in food processing, medical, and pharmaceutical environments. The product is a sponge made of cellulose or polyurethane without biocide, pre-impregnated with a medium. The media in SpongesCollect™ helps to recover, maintain the life, and stabilize microorganisms, while protecting them from the effects of residual disinfectants on surfaces, ensuring that the microorganisms are not affected throughout the transportation and analysis process.
