BacterTest™ NaOH is used used in titration, acid neutralization, pH adjustment of solutions and chemicals.
- PRINCIPLES
NaOH is a strong base, 0.1N NaOH solution is highly alkaline, turning litmus blue and phenolphthalein solution pink.
This solution is commonly used in the laboratory for applications such as acid-base titration, pH adjustment, and as a reagent in chemical analysis.
- Acid-base titration: Used to determine the concentration of acid solutions.
- PH adjustment: Helps increase alkalinity or neutralize acid in solutions.
