● Air is drawn in from the bottom and directed to the rear of the cabinet through the pre-filter (where large particles are captured, increasing the main filter’s lifespan).
● The air is then blown through the main filter, creating a horizontal laminar flow of clean air that is exhausted across the entire open front of the cabinet, diverting away from the work surface.
● The filter face velocity is maintained at 0.45 m/s (90 FPM), ensuring an adequate air change rate to maintain a clean work area.
● The uniformity of the filter face velocity is maintained within ±20% across the entire filter face, a speed that complies with international standards.
