INTENDED USE
- Tecra.PB.HEPA.BioSafe is a passbox used to store and transfer specimens between different areas, ensuring the samples are not contaminated and maintain their quality throughout the transfer process.
FEATURES
- Structure: Double-layer design with an exterior made of 1.2mm thick electro-galvanized steel and interior made of SUS 304/316 stainless steel, increasing durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of cleaning.
- Observation window is made of transparent Polycarbonate, UV-resistant, and capable of withstanding high temperatures.
- UV lamp: Sterilizes the working surface inside the transfer box.
- Centrifugal fan motor: EBMpapst – Germany, energy-efficient, extends filter lifespan, and reduces noise during operation.
- Uses HEPA (H14) filters from Camfil – Sweden or AAF – USA, with a filtration efficiency of 99.999% at 0.3 µm (H14) or 99.9999% at 0.1 µm (U15)
- Interlock (mechanical or electrical): Ensures the “one closes, one opens” principle to prevent cross-contamination between rooms during sample transfer
